Born in 1956, he started to work as a Waldorf teacher for Biology and Chemistry for the upper grades at Marburg Waldorf School in 1988. At the end of his studies, he got in contact with Anthroposophyand went for a year to Dornach/Switzerland to learn especially the Goetheanistic approach to science. It was so fascinating for him that he appreciated very much to get the chance to work within this field then at their school in Marburg . Here, he also met my wife, their two children were born, and they liked to live here so much that they decided to stay there ever since. He got his PhD in Pedagogic in 2003. Since 10 years, he has been organizing the annual meeting of German Waldorf Chemistry teachers. He also trains young teachers at Waldorf Seminars at Marburg University . This year, he also gave his first course in Moscow , and now he is looking forward to know more about the Asian Conference. He has been in contact with the Chinese movement; has already visited Chengdu Waldorf School and has been to China twice with students.
